Girl Crushes

Hey! Guess what?! Yesterday was an amazing day in politics. I am not an overly political person, but I am a person who believes in equality, love, and acceptance. I believe everyone has a right to love, no matter who it is (unless it's like a mountain lion, because that is both gross and dangerous).

I'm not going to argue my beliefs, or break them down, or talk about my thoughts on the bible and government and what have you- I am just going to applaud America in moving in the right direction.

In the spirit of yesterday's awesomeness, today's topic is: my girl crushes. Now, it's no secret that I am very much obsessed with men. I love them. I think they rock. However, men are gross. They are dirty and they make a lot of bodily noises I'm not entirely sure are natural. So, I have girl crushes. No, I'm not fantasizing about these girls (sorry, guys), I just think they are cool for various reasons.

Here are my current Girl Crushes, in no particular order...

-Jennifer Lawrence

I have a huge girl crush on her body- but seriously look at her, do you blame me? She is awesome. she is proportioned, and normal and gorgeous and totally owns her curves! This picture is actually saved on my phone as my "thinspiration". Not to mention, she's effing hilarious and awkward and so cool. I could probably hang out with her for a day and have the time of my life. Can someone arrange that for me, please? Thanks,



-Julianne Hough

I have a huge girl crush on her hair and makeup and overall beauty. She's gorgeous. Her eyes always pop, she can be blonde, brunette, have long hair or cropped short, she always looks fantastic. I am so envious, because I love to change up my look but I can't get away with the really short hair. Plus I want my eyes to pop like that! My gosh she's beautiful (and way too good for Ryan Seacrest if you ask me....but we'll save that for the day I meet her and have a heart to heart with her)



-Selena Gomez

I have a "i wish she were my little sister" girl crush on her. First of all she is so beautiful, and very natural looking. Plus shes so dang cute! She's always so sweet in her interviews, she is a really funny actress, and even when she tries to pull off the "sexy" thing, she is never slutty about it, so I respect her for that. Shes awesome and I love her


 


-Jennifer Aniston

I mean, duh. Shes amazing. She's over 40. She played Rachel Green. What's not to love about her? She's so inspiring and absolutely someone to look up to. Not to mention, she is smokin' hot (yeah, I said it!)






-Rachel Bilson

She is my style Icon. I love her look. She is chic and comfortable. I am definitely someone who likes to dress cute, but I like to balance that with also being comfortable. When I first moved to the south, I didn't understand why girls constantly wear sundresses (now that I've lived here a few summers, I realize it's because it's just so damn hot). Even so, I still rock the jean shorts for the most part. I think Rachel Bilson does a perfect job in all of her outfits to add some class and edge to the tee shirt and jeans look. Plus, shes just awesome anyway, and one of my favorite shows is Hart of Dixie so that helps too




 -Jess

No, I don't mean Zooey, I mean Jess. If Jess were a real person, we'd be best friends, for sure. In fact, when New Girl first started airing, I had an uncomfortable amount of people tell me that she reminded them of me (does that mean I'm adorkable?!).  I think she's hysterical. And I'd burst into song with her on any occasion too. I have a huge girl crush on her, and I want us to be friends. If only she were real...



So now that I've probably convinced you all that I am way into girls, I'm gonna call it a day with this blog post. I will sign off with this quote in reference to yesterday's occurrences:
